Kelly's Port original facility was built in 1929 before the completion of the Great Osage River. Known first as the Rocky Comfort Hotel, the resort was one of the first establishments on the Lake and as time went by the business evolved and became Garlin's Boat Yard - the first marina at the Lake of the Ozarks to see and service boats.

Randy & Jane Kelly's involvement began May 25th, 1977 after a stint in the saloon business in Kansas City at Kelly's Westport Inn. After the marina got on its feet Jane went on to real estate in 1979 and has been recognized multiple times as the largest Re/Max agent in the three state region.

Kelly's Port Marina has continued to grow from the first days in 1977. In 1993, we broke ground on the Osage Beach Marina which is now recognized as our main facility. This location offers all of the amenities of a full service marina including sales, wet slips, dry dock storage, seasonal cabin rental, ship store, gas dock, swimming pool and what has been recognized as the best service facility in the Lake area. In June of 2007, we opened the Lake's first 8,400 sq. ft. retail boat showroom with the ability to show boats up to 50 foot indoors.

Being Regal's oldest dealer and the first to rank in the Top 10 in Sales and Top 10 in Customer Satisfaction was a testament to the commitment of Kelly's Port. With customer satisfaction rating at the highest level with Mercruiser and Volvo Penta Kelly's Port was voted among the Top 100 Dealers nationwide by Boating Industry Magazine and has become one of a select few to achieve a Certified Dealer Status from the National Marine Manufacturer's Association. With an emphasis on customer satisfaction and commitment to professionalism Kelly's Port has become one of the premier marine communities at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Kelly's Port has been recognized in 2000 as a Partner in tourism for founding the Lake Ozark Harbor Hop / Poker Run.

Randy Kelly Also was a co-founder in the Lake Ozark on the water Easter boat show and the Overland Park boat show. President of the Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association.

Kelly's Port has been teamed up with Velocity in 1985 to 1990 Powerquest from 1994 to 1996 Wellcraft/Scarab 1996 to 2002
